One Humble Little Tomato
One humble little tomato. Plucked from this vine as the sun faded behind the mountains on the evening of the first frost warning. Being the only tomato that this vine produced made it quite special. We’d watered it diligently for months, confused as to why it refused to grow or produce the fruit we had hoped for. Often times when I start something new I’m confronted with the question of why? Why is this not working out the way I had hoped or envisioned? Of course the answer is partly that I need to try something different, add something else to the equation or change the process somehow. I can make a choice to try something different or just hope for the best. Maybe I’ll try something different next year but for now I’ll be content with this being the fruits of my labor
